What is project time tracking?
Project time tracking describes the systematic logging of worked hours against a specific project, client or task. Unlike pure working-time tracking, which only records the start and end of the day, project time tracking assigns every hour to a billable or internal item.

How do the hours reach payroll?
As a PDF timesheet per employee, an Excel export of all entries or directly via the REST API. Which one fits depends on your payroll tool, all three are available.
Who on the team sees which data?
A role-based permission system controls that. Employees see their own hours, project leads see their project, leadership sees the whole firm. Accounting sees receivables and invoices without opening personnel files.
