Rates
Maintain hourly rates per consultant and project in QUANTICAL.ERP - rate, statistical rate, validity, handling of overlaps and where the rate is used.
The hourly rate applies per consultant and project for a period. It values every booked hour: in the invoice run as revenue, in controlling as earnings, in budget planning as budget consumption. You maintain the rates in the project's Rates tab.
Add a rate
Click Add Rate. Only employees assigned to the project are offered. Enter the Rate in euros. The Statistical Rate is a second rate for controlling: when set, controlling values the hours with it instead of the rate, for example with a package price that hides a different internal rate. Invoices and budget planning always use the rate. Left empty, the rate applies everywhere.
Set the validity
Valid From is preset to the project start, Valid To lies five years ahead. Adjust the dates if the rate applies to one phase only. For every booking the rate valid on the day of the booking counts.
Resolve an overlap
If the employee already has a rate in the same period, QUANTICAL.ERP asks how to adjust the existing one: adjust its end date, adjust its start date, split it into two periods or replace it. This way a raise at the turn of the year becomes a clean history without gap and without duplicate.
Reading the table
The Current column shows whether the rate applies today. The filters Currently valid and Inactive only narrow the list. The pencil changes a rate, the bin deletes it. If a budget plan hangs on the period, QUANTICAL.ERP points out after deleting that the plan has no rate anymore.
Without a valid rate the invoice run values the hours at zero euros and warns beforehand with missing rates. After every new assignment, check that the rate covers the whole period.
Assign the team
Assign employees to a project in QUANTICAL.ERP - in the Assignments tab or straight from the project list, one by one or all at once, with an optional role.
Budgets
Create project budgets in QUANTICAL.ERP - name, amount, currency and period per budget as the basis for budget planning, resource overview and controlling.
