Edit vacation rules

Set annual leave, half days, expiry of carried-over leave and the public holiday calculation in QUANTICAL.ERP.

Administrators set the vacation rules under Settings > Administration > Staff & absences in the Absences tab.

Vacation rules

  • Vacation days per year: the default annual entitlement
  • Allow half vacation days: enables half days in vacation requests
  • Expiry of remaining leave: until when leave carried over from last year can be taken, for example until 31 March of the following year. Anything not taken by then expires.

Public holidays

Here you set which federal state public holidays are calculated for:

  • Dynamic (per employee): the federal state of each employee applies. It has to be maintained in the employee's master data.
  • Fixed (company-wide): the federal state of the company's location applies to all employees.

Approve or decline vacation

As an administrator, review, approve or decline employees' vacation requests in QUANTICAL.ERP.

Adjust vacation days

Override an employee's vacation entitlement in QUANTICAL.ERP for a specific period, for example when they join during the year.
