By employee
See and plan all allocations of one person across their projects in QUANTICAL.ERP budget planning - with project and budget ID per row.
The By Employee view turns planning around: instead of one budget you see one person with all projects they are planned on. This way you notice that someone is planned beyond their capacity before the next allocation is added.
Choose the employee
Choose the Consultant/Employee. The table loads all their allocations, Period from and Period to narrow them down.
Add an allocation
Add allocation creates a row. Choose the Project first, the projects the person is assigned to are offered, then the Budget ID of that project. Changing the project clears the budget ID again. Then follow From, To and PT/week or h/week as in the By Project view.
Save changes
Save changes writes all new and changed rows. The rules are the same as By project: the rate must cover the period, several rates are split, a period outside the project duration is confirmed.
From the resource overview to here
In the resource overview the Go to Budget Planning button in the By Employee view leads straight here, with the person already selected. There you see beforehand the Target capacity, Planned and Still available of the current week.
Plan new projects in this view. The sum of PT/week over all rows shows at once whether five person-days are exceeded, and the resource overview marks overplanned weeks in red.
By project
Choose a budget in QUANTICAL.ERP budget planning and spread person-days per week over the employees - with budget consumption, a suggestion for the remaining budget and splitting over several rates.
Employee management
Create and maintain employees in QUANTICAL.ERP - record, user account and seat, master data, work requirements, project assignments, rates, vacation and compensation.
