Information about data protection and the use of cookies
Last updated: April 2026
Introduction
Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy informs you about the processing of personal data on our website.
Data Controller
The data controller for this website is rwQUANTICAL GmbH, Kaistraße 2, 40221 Düsseldorf, Germany.
Cookies & Tracking
We use two analytics tools on this website: PostHog (hosted in the EU at eu.i.posthog.com) and Google Analytics 4. PostHog only loads after your consent. For Google Analytics we use Consent Mode v2: the tag loads on page view, but before your consent it stores no cookies and processes no personal data – only anonymous, non-personalised signals are transmitted. Full measurement with cookies and identifiers only happens after your consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TTDSG.
Data Collected
If consent is given, the following data is processed in particular: page views, time on page, scroll depth, click and interaction events, referrer, browser and device information, truncated IP address, and a pseudonymous visitor ID. No merging with other data sources takes place.
Google Analytics
Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for statistical analysis of user behaviour on our landing page. GA4 anonymises IP addresses by default before processing. Processing may include data transfers to Google LLC in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023), ensuring an adequate level of data protection. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or by deleting your browser's cookies.
Transfer to Third Countries
When using Google Analytics, personal data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States. Legal basis for the transfer is the adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). In addition, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses are used. Without Consent
Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set and no personal data is processed for analytics purposes. Only technically necessary cookies are used (e.g. to store your cookie decision itself).
Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Contact us using the details provided in our imprint.
Data Retention
Tracking data is stored for a maximum of 12 months and then automatically deleted.
